Summit Pothole Crew

Thank you to everyone who donated. We don't need any more money.

Larry McVoy has started a Summit Pothole Crew to fix potholes in the Summit Area (Santa Cruz County). County will provide materials and Larry and team will do the work.

People have wanted to donate to the effort. Money collected will be used for materials, to buy cold mix to fix potholes, meals for the crew and other expenses. Thanks for donating.

Fall Mountain Soccer League

For grades 2-6, LGS Recreation Fall Mountain Soccer League is a recreational soccer program that has been serving the Los Gatos Community for many years. It is a “non-competitive” community league with teams comprising a mix of girls and boys at different
ages. The focus of the league is to teach Soccer skills, develop team spirit and foster a positive
experience. We strive to give all participants equal play time and to keep teams evenly matched. All games have referees. Good sportsmanship is mandatory. Map Your Neighborhood

Map Your Neighborhood is a DVD-based program designed to let you to host a 2-3 hour workshop in your home with your neighbors. Make it fun! Host a weekend BBQ or dessert night, with a disaster response theme.

Mountain Area Over 55 Club

The program provides a friendly and comfortable atmosphere where neighbors can come to socialize, play cards or other table games, listen to informative talks exchange a book in the rotation library, and/or just stop by for a chat and “cuppa”. The purpose of the Community Improvement Grant Project is to encourage and support efforts by groups and individuals to improve the community. The grant program is for small projects – but many small projects together can offer big, positive changes for our Mountain Community. Read more about it on our

Bench Plaque Program

LPCF’s Bench Plaque Program offers an opportunity to dedicate a plaque in honor of, or in memory of, a community member.  Plaques will be permanently mounted on the bench backrests in the Redwood Amphitheatre, behind the Gazebo.   The cost of each plaque is $500 with all proceeds going to the Loma Prieta Community Foundation to further their work of providing community support.
